The borosilicate glass is noticeably thicker than my old press, so I don't flinch every time I rinse it under hot water. The plunger glides down smooth, and the 1L size is just right for two big mugs of coffee that actually taste cleaner.

The borosilicate glass is definitely the star here—it feels sturdy and the coffee stays clean without any metallic aftertaste. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is that the plunger takes a bit more effort to press down than I’d like, but the 1L size is perfect for my mornings.
