I've been using these for my bulk-bin oats and they hold up way better than the flimsy mesh ones I had before. The muslin cotton is soft but sturdy, and I love that I can toss them in the wash without any fraying.
The cotton is definitely breathable—my greens stayed crisp for two extra days in the fridge. Wish the drawstrings were a bit longer for tying onto my cart handle, but they’re sturdy enough for weekly farmer’s market trips.
